Sea Surface Temperature The sea surface temperature (SST) is the temperature of the water at or near the sea's surface. The SSTs in Egypt have been increasing over time, which has resulted in an increase in sea level rise and coastal erosion along with other negative impacts on marine ecosystems. Diving Sites in Egypt Egypt has over 900 diving sites that can be found all along its coast from Alexandria to Sharm El Sheikh. The best time for diving in Egypt is from November to April when water temperatures are moderate and visibility ranges from 20-30 meters.
